If you're heading into Wildwood via Route 147 through North Wildwood, take note: the speed limit has recently been lowered to 25 mph as you approach and leave the island. It’s a small change, but it makes a big difference — for safety, for the scenery, and yes, even for the turtles! You can read all about it here: "TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Speed Limit Change Coming into North Wildwood" northwildwood.com+10wildwoodvideoarchive.com+10wildwoodvideoarchive.com+10.

We always want our guests to arrive safely and start their vacation stress-free. Slowing down not only protects turtle crossings along the route — which are especially active this time of year — but it also helps you avoid damage to your car if one happens to be in your path.

And here’s a bonus: driving a little slower over the bridge gives your passengers the chance to soak in the view. You’ll often spot fishing boats gliding into the bay, and on clear days, the sunlight dances across the water — it’s a beautiful way to begin your time in Wildwood.

So ease off the gas, enjoy the ride, and we’ll be here to welcome you when you arrive at the Sea Gypsy Bed and Breakfast.

Warm wishes,

The Sea Gypsy Family
