Here at the Sea Gypsy Bed & Breakfast, we live for those weekends when Wildwood transforms into a roaring, vintage wonderland. Nothing captures that magic quite like The Race of Gentlemen (T.R.O.G.), and I’m thrilled to share that 2026 is already shaping up to be another unforgettable year.

šŸ”® T.R.O.G. 2026 Dates – Coming Soon!

While the official 2026 datesĀ haven’t been posted just yet, history tells us to look toward early October. Expect another Thursday through Sunday celebrationĀ filled with swap meets, beach racing, bonfires, and live rock & roll.

If you’re already planning your trip, pencil in the first weekend of October 2026 — that’s when Wildwood’s beaches are once again expected to echo with the growl of flathead engines and the cheers of thousands of fans.

šŸ‘‰ As soon as the exact dates are released, we’ll be among the first to let you know. (And yes, our rooms will go fast, so it pays to book early!)

šŸ– A Look Back at T.R.O.G. 2025

This past year, October 2–5, 2025, Wildwood’s beach became a time machine. Classic hot rods and vintage motorcycles raced down the sand, engines kicking up salt spray under a perfect autumn sky.

  • Thursday & FridayĀ brought the Swap Meet, where collectors and gearheads traded parts, stories, and treasures. Evenings meant kick-off partiesĀ at Jersey Girl Kitchen & Bar and Lazy Bass — good food, live music, and the perfect pre-race buzz.

  • Saturday & SundayĀ were all about the races. Gates opened with the tides, and from morning until late afternoon, spectators packed the sand to watch beautifully restored machines thunder down the strip.

  • Saturday night’s bonfire and concert at PigDogĀ on Morey’s Pier capped off the day in true T.R.O.G. style — music, dancing, firelight, and the ocean as your backdrop.

The vibe? Pure electricity. A mix of old-school Americana, beach-town fun, and a celebration of speed and style.

šŸ” The Flavor of T.R.O.G. 2025

Of course, what’s a festival without the food? At T.R.O.G. 2025, the eats were just as memorable as the races:

  • Classic festival fare: juicy burgers, sizzling hot dogs, and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches.

  • Boardwalk staples: fresh fries, fried Oreos, funnel cakes, and soft pretzels.

  • Local seafood touches: crab cakes and fried shrimp baskets from nearby vendors.

  • Sweets & treats: ice cream, fudge, and saltwater taffy (because it wouldn’t be Wildwood without it!).

  • Drinks to keep you going: cold sodas, draft beer, and plenty of bottled water to beat the sun.

Between the smell of racing fuel and barbecue smoke, you could taste the nostalgia in the air.
